Batteries for Motorcycles near Ft Myers
Have you ever purchased a battery from a battery store, auto parts store or motorcycle shop, put it in your bike and a few months later you turn the key and hear click, click, click? Did the shop you bought it from tell you it’s an electrical problem with your bike so you drop way too much money having your bike looked at only to find nothing?
Many times it is the battery and not the bike. How can you keep that problem from reoccurring year after year, battery after battery? Head to Holiday Motorsports.
Did you know that many shops sell you a battery that is not 100% charged? They may have charged it a month or two ago and that should be ok, right? No. They may have put it in a bike in service to check its electrical system. You really don’t know. They may not have done it with the intention of doing anything wrong. They didn’t know any better.
When you put a poor quality battery in your motorcycle, one without a full charge, and hit the starter button your battery’s “memory” begins. That means that if your battery was only charged to 65% when you start your motorcycle, it thinks it’s full and will never charge above 65% again. Your charger may say it’s a full charge but it’s not. Why would you buy a battery
that you can’t guarantee is a new, fully charged one? You wouldn’t, but most times you never know.
Our parts department has a battery charging station that keeps our batteries ready to go. We use a battery rotation schedule to be sure they are at 100% when you make your purchase. We won’t sell you a poor quality motorcycle battery and we won’t sell you a battery that isn’t ready to go. You can count on motorcycle batteries from Holiday Motorsports.
